Boundless is looking to hire a Director of Human Resources /Recruiter who is mature, energetic individual who can work in a fast paced environment with 5 plus years of HR experience in a start-up/high-growth field.

She/He will report directly to the COO. She/He will provide thought leadership, processes, tools, and resources to support the development and implementation of high-value strategic initiatives for the organization. They will assist the COO with the talent management and leadership development as well as all tools and processes required to support succession planning, talent assessment, performance management, competency identification and development.

She/he will assist with developing programs for the organization from a performance and culture perspective by implementing and overseeing initiatives that increase efficiency, strengthen employee knowledge and abilities and grow leadership.

Human Resources Director is also responsible for monitoring and providing counseling to managers, directors and department supervisors in all human resource aspects including recruitment, firing, employee relations, disciplinary actions, benefits in accordance to the individual state employment laws and regulations.

Job Requirements (not all inclusive of the job requirements/duties):

  • Ability to understand the organization’s strategies and translate into programs which support strategic plan initiatives.
  • Knowledgeable of state and federal labor laws. Knowledge of Canadian labor regulations a strong plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong change leadership skills coupled with exceptional relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Expert facilitation skills in a group setting and virtual environment.
  • Ability to dynamically engage, train, and coach employees and various audiences at all levels.
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to think strategically and critically in developing solutions for complex challenges.
  • Experience driving execution successfully and operationalizing talent strategies as part of a complete talent management plan.
  • Excellent computer skills and analytical abilities.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative and innovative with approach and ideas while being flexible and adaptable to a changing and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and to make independent decisions, excellent listening, customer service and employee relation skills.

License/Certification: PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years’ Organizational Development, Learning and Development or related Human Resource experience.
  • Two (2) years HR experience in healthcare environment required.
  • Master’s degree, preferred or a bachelor’s degree in one or more of the following:Organizational Development or Human Resources
